Rigby's Story...
Rigby is a sweet tabby and white boy who is a great mix of affection and play! He LOVES any toy that has a string. You can find him chasing balls and he would love to wrestle with a kitten friend. He is an outgoing guy once he feels safe and will nose right up to you or another cat. He's not too sure about dogs, although his foster dog friend has been helping him learn that they are ok! He gives nose kisses and has a nice purr and makes plenty of biscuits! He likes to sit on or next to you, once he's had his fill of kitten play and fun. He is a social guy and doesn't like to be alone, so needs both human and cat friends, preferably a kitten like himself. Two are way more fun than one anyway!

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Rigby, a Glen Mills Domestic Shorthair kitten was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Domestic Shorthair for sale in Glen Mills, or seeking a Domestic Shorthair kitten from a breeder in Glen Mills.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Glen Mills already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Glen Mills breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Domestic Shorthair breeders who help with Domestic Shorthair rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Glen Mills paves the way for another one to be saved.
