Shelby is a very gentle, friendly 6-7 year old couch potato who is searching for her forever home. She's had a rough time and is very happy in her foster home, where she is receiving treatment for stiff joints and learning how to be loved again. Happy with other dogs and children and showing no interest in other animals, Shelby is affectionate, loves people and seems to prefer men. She enjoys greenies, peanut butter in her Kong and naps, also travels very well.
Shelby is slow-moving and the leash is a new concept for her, but she does walk well, if not quickly. A home with a fenced yard may be best for her so that she can move at her own pace.
If you're interested in sharing your home with a quiet, unassuming sweetheart of a hound, Shelby could be your girl!
