Meet our beautiful black lab, Luna. She is an absolute sweetheart. And not your typical lab. So, if you are looking for that active dog, who can't get enough of the outdoors . . . . this is not the lab for you. :)
Luna experienced a lot before she was an owner surrender at TMHPR. Her owner was no longer able to care for his dogs and wanted a better life for them. She has lived outdoors, had litters of puppies and no longer wants any part of that life.
Luna's foster mom reports that she just wants to nestle with you on the couch and cuddle in the bed. She is totally house trained and does not seem to have a destructive side. She goes outside to do her business, but wants to come right back inside to keep you company.
Luna will need to have a 4-legged canine buddy, because she stresses when she is alone. She doesn't need a cat friend, because they are WAY too much fun to chase. Not big into toys or playing fetch. Just very keen on that comfy couch and soft bed. So, if you are looking for a football watching, Netflix binging or movie watching buddy, this warm and cuddly girl would be perfect for you.
She is good on walks. She knows how to sit, but would love for you to take her to an obedience training class. She would love the interaction with her human and stretching her mind.
We are looking for someone who is home more than not; and loves for their furry friend to be an active part of their lives. To meet Luna, please fill out an Adoption Application on our website.
Luna's approximate birthdate is March 1, 2013.
