Wednesday's Story...
3-4 years old
Just call me Wednesday Adams! Wednesday came to our shelter as a stray and no one came to claim her. Wednesday likes to pretend she is shy right at first but don’t you believe it. Once she has had a moment to get to know you you won’t find a more affectionate dog as hard as you may look. She doesn’t ask for much just someone to toss the tennis ball for her in the back yard and a comfy place to curl up and cuddle. Wednesday is an amazing dog looking for her forever family.

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Wednesday, a Fruit Heights Labrador Retriever/Border Collie dog was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Labrador Retriever/Border Collie for sale in Fruit Heights, or seeking a Labrador Retriever/Border Collie dog from a breeder in Fruit Heights.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Fruit Heights already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Fruit Heights breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Labrador Retriever/Border Collie breeders who help with Labrador Retriever/Border Collie rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Fruit Heights paves the way for another one to be saved.
