Hi there! My name is Coco-Puffs and I am a "Swinging Tap Dancer". That means I'm a middle of the road kind of gal. Are you looking for a fun-loving dog who is comfortable going on long walks or just lying around the house? Do you want a dog with energy, but who won't wear you out? Then I'm your dog. I can be a bit goofy and I'm sure I'll make you smile with my wiggle butt and grin. I know sit and would love to learn more with my new people. Please come visit me at the Maryland SPCA- I'll be waiting to hear from you! Primary Color: White Secondary Color: Brindle Weight: 70 Age: 5yrs 0mths 3wks
The Maryland SPCA connects wonderful pets to loving owners. We are not affiliated with any national animal organization, and we do not receive any government or United Way funding. Our mission is to prevent cruelty and neglect of animals through fostering the humane relationship between animals and people. We operate primarily in the Greater Baltimore Metropolitan area.
To make sure that our dogs and cats do not contribute to the pet overpopulation problem, every one is spayed or neutered before going into a new home. The cost is included in the adoption fee, as are the costs of shots and other necessary care. In addition, a free Positive Pooch class is available to our dog adopters.
There is no set time limit for how long an animal can remain in our adoption program. As long as an animal maintains general good health and a sound temperament, we keep him or her until adopted. We pride ourselves on providing premium care to the animals in a clean, pleasant environment. Our adoption staff works diligently to pair up adopters with the best animal match for their homes and lifestyles.
We transport animals from other shelters to our adoption center to help more animals get adopted. We also help pet owners find new homes for their pets so their animals don’t need to enter shelter care.
