My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Maddie originally came to Animal House as a very timid lady who had never socialized with other companion animals or humans. She was placed in a long term foster home where her foster mom allowed her to come out of her shell at her own pace. Maddie was able to socialize with her foster mom and other foster dogs both large and small on her own terms. As time passed and as foster dogs came and went through her foster home, Maddie transformed from a scared and shy pup to a lady who is self-confident and who happily wags her tail with pride.

Maddie has a very relaxed personality that lights up with joy when her foster mom comes home from work or running errands and she gets along with both dogs and cats alike, adults and children too. She enjoys affection from humans is quite content being a lap dog with the occasional belly rub. Maddie is potty trained and uses a potty training pad in her foster mom's kitchen.

Maddie's foster mom has committed to fostering her until the perfect forever family is found and is happy to speak to any interested families and to conduct meet and greets. Maddie is up to date on all of her vaccinations and gets a monthly dose of Advantage Multi for flea, tick, and heartworm protection.
