Maddie came to us from a large scale back yard breeding operation with over 170 dogs in the home and in outdoor kennels. She was fearful and reserved when we first received her but after months in a foster home she has made leaps and bounds in the socialization department. She loves her foster mom and shares her home with a medium size pit/lab cross that she now sleeps with at night. Maddie is very laid back and is more couch potato than anything else. Below is a note from her foster mom: Maddie continues to make great strides and has been in her foster home for two and a half months. She no longer has trouble with submissive urination and is slowly showing more interesting in socializing with her foster siblings. Maddie is also showing more of an interest in taking short walks and is no longer fearful of her leash. Additionally Maddie has gotten along with all of her foster siblings who are patient with her and who do not crowd in on her space. Maddie would do best in a relaxed, low stress home where she can continue to blossom and with humans who understand her needs due to her lack of socialization prior to rescue.
