RezQ Dogs was founded in 2009 because our community’s only No-Kill shelter was unable to handle the high volume of animals in local Animal Control facilities. RezQ Dogs focuses on getting these "at risk" dogs out of immediate danger and into rescues and approved adoptive homes. At this time, RezQ Dogs does not have ifacility open to the public. Appointments can be made to meet the dogs by contacting Anita at firstname.lastname@example.org
Our Adoption Process...
We are looking for great homes for our dogs. Maybe your home? This is our basic adoption process. We require an adoption application to be filled out that describes your home situation and why you want to adopt. The application includes a number of questions that help us to get to know you, and to determine your situation, and whether the dog would fit into that situation. You must specify several references that will be checked before adoption. In addition, you will need to talk with a RezQ volunteer by phone or in person about the possible adoption. Our adoption application states that if you no longer want the dog, you must return the dog to us.
Thank You! Your message has been sent to RezQ Dogs.
You'll receive a copy, too, at
to help you keep track of which pets you've inquired about, and which shelters and rescues you've emailed.
NOTE: Some shelters have physical locations you can visit; some of these shelters may only have pets for a limited time, so please do not wait for a reply—just go visit the shelter!
Other organizations are rescue groups run by busy volunteers who may take a while to reply. You can find information about the shelter or rescue group caring for this pet, and their adoption procedures,
on the pet's details page on Adopt-a-Pet.com.
