Savannah's Story...
Savannah is one happy puppy these days! She has gotten the chance to start life over again and she is eager to get going with a family that will give her all of the love and good care that she deserves. Savannah is one of many dogs that were removed from dreadful conditions over the summer. The dogs were kept in tiny cages in their own feces, and starved to near death. It took some time to get them strong and healthy again but now, they're positively thriving! Savannah is about 7 months old and this happy puppy loves the world. She is overjoyed to make new friends and though she is just a little nervous when she ventures outdoors and sees new things, she relaxes quickly if you just give her a little reassurance. Savannah loves throwing around toys and her little rearend never stops wiggling when you play with her for a while. She walks nicely on a leash and is well behaved and gentle. Savannah gets along just fine with other dogs and doesn't seem to mind cats either. She will bring lots of happiness to the lucky family that welcomes her with open arms. File#26606 8/9/16

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Savannah, a Forked River English Bulldog/Boxer dog was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a English Bulldog/Boxer for sale in Forked River, or seeking a English Bulldog/Boxer dog from a breeder in Forked River.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Forked River already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Forked River breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even English Bulldog/Boxer breeders who help with English Bulldog/Boxer rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Forked River paves the way for another one to be saved.
