Shelby is a real sweet soul and she needs adopted ASAP!  She's an easy-going girl and will adjust in no time to your home.  When you meet her, you want to give her a big hug.   Shelby's spayed, current on her vaccines, and micro-chipped.  She is also a 'name your price' adoption!  Her time is now short at the shelter where she's been waiting for someone to come for her for far too long.  She has a small growth on her snout that is likely turning potential owners away.  Pls. give her a chance.  It's what's on the inside that matters, and this girl is really great!  Please don't delay!  Her animal ID# is A1835028.  The shelter is located at 7100 Belvedere Road in West Palm Beach, about a quarter mile west of Jog Road on the south side.  You can call ahead to see whether she's still available:  (561) 233-1200 by referring to her ID#.  Please do not call A.R.F., e-mail A.R.F. or complete an adoption application regarding Shelby.  She is not in our care and is at the county shelter waiting for you.  This is a courtesy posting for her in the hopes that she gets liberated from the shelter real soon!

About Animal Rescue Force of South Florida, Inc.

About Our Rescue Group...

Animal Rescue Force of South Florida is a non-profit, ALL VOLUNTEER, 501(c)3 organization that rescues homeless and unwanted dogs and cats from high kill shelters and elsewhere, and finds them good, forever, loving homes.

Come Meet Our Pets...

Many of our animals are in foster homes, but we do have some cats and dogs at our Adoption Center in West Palm Beach. We also have adoptable cats on site at several PetSupermarket locations throughout Palm Beach County, as well as at the Delray Beach PetSmart. We have adoption events on most weekends all over Palm Beach County. Please visit our website,, and click on Events to see what events are coming up.

Our Adoption Process...

A potential adopter fills out an adoption application in person or online. The application is reviewed by an Adoption Counselor. Then that applicant is interviewed and, if the candidate and the pet are a good match, the paperwork is completed to finalize the adoption.
