Beautiful Darcy came to us when her owner passed away. She is such a lovely girl! She is very friendly when meeting new people and loves attention and belly rubs!
Darcy likes to be with her people and her fosters describe her as a somewhat of a “velcro” dog. She is mellow and relaxed in the house. She likes to watch what’s going on and keep an eye on everyone. Darcy has excellent house manners and does not need to be crated, though she is fine in her crate when her fosters go out. She loves car rides and will be happy to go along with you on outings.
Darcy is an active and playful girl who loves to chase balls, squirrels, birds and rabbits! She has a tendency to roam, so we will require a fenced in yard for her. She is vocal in barking at things when she is outside in the yard, but is well behaved and quiet inside the house. She knows many basic obedience commands and is a quick learner. She is working on her leash manners, as she pulls a bit.
Darcy has been playful and excited to meet the small dogs next door, but she has not lived with other dogs so we are unsure how she would do. She has been respectful of the cats in her foster home, though her foster feels she might chase them if given the chance.
