James (I'm blind)'s Story...
James has the purest of souls. He’s never been nasty to another animal or human being. He is very docile. James was born blind and he's now 6 months old. Despite his challenges James learns to familiarize with his surroundings. He becomes very comfortable in a safe controlled environment and will play like a normal dog. James is very submissive. Because of this he has a tendency to be bullied. He needs to be placed in a home with other submissive animals. He is friendly with cats and dogs of all sizes. James is a bit shy at first but once he figures out you have the treats he will be your best friend for life. James becomes afraid and uncomfortable when being picked up because he is blind so he tends to stiffen his entire body. With some time and trust this issue can be resolved. Because James is blind he will be placed in a home with a fenced yard. No exceptions. Even though James cannot see you, he can smell you from a mile away. He loves to be baby talked. Some of his favorite things include chew toys, raw hides and treats. James can be a bit of a couch potato. So if you are looking for a chill dog who is satisfied with you watching movies on the sofa while he gets to lay with you he is your man!! He also loves to eat. James could easily become over weight because of his love for food but with a proper diet this should be no issue. His challenges call for a special home and he deserves to hear the love in your voice and the touch of your hand. James will live a long healthy life given the chance that a loving person or family opens their home to him.
James is 7 months old and 30 lbs. Neutered and up to date on vaccines. If you're interested in adopting James please email firstname.lastname@example.org. Adoption fee $100
