Douglas's Info...

I am already neutered, housetrained, purebred, up to date with shots, not good with kids, not good with dogs, and not good with cats.

Douglas's Story...
Douglas is probably around 18 months old. He's highly energetic and doesn't like to be left alone. Douglas can be bratty around other dogs but I wouldn't call him dog aggressive. He just needs a confident/more dominant fur sibling or to be an only dog. This boy isn't a dog park dog. He's a running partner, a hiking buddy, or an athlete's best friend. This guy isn't for the novice dog owner. He's gorgeous and very affectionate with his humans . He has finished his heartworm treatment and is ready for his forever home!

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Douglas, a Mount Juliet Siberian Husky dog was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Siberian Husky for sale in Mount Juliet, or seeking a Siberian Husky dog from a breeder in Mount Juliet.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Mount Juliet already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Mount Juliet breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Siberian Husky breeders who help with Siberian Husky rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Mount Juliet paves the way for another one to be saved.
