Gillette's Story...
Gillette is a beautiful 2 year old Cane Corso mix. She is as sweet as they come once she becomes comfortable. Gillette has shown us how snuggly she is and how much she loves belly rubs. Gillette used to live with dogs so may do well with other dogs in her future forever home. She also did well with cats! Any children in the home will need to be older and respectful of dogs. Gillette's future owners will need to have prior experience with large breeds to help make sure she gets the best opportunity to be a forever dog!

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Gillette, a Michigan City Cane Corso dog was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Cane Corso for sale in Michigan City, or seeking a Cane Corso dog from a breeder in Michigan City.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Michigan City already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Michigan City breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Cane Corso breeders who help with Cane Corso rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Michigan City paves the way for another one to be saved.
