Mary Lou's Story...
Mary Lou: 7 year old puggle great with people, kids, dogs potty trained

We sure are crazy about Mary Lou and you will be, too! She's got a zest for life that's contagious; she's happy and feisty and perky. What's not to like? When she's not exploring her surroundings or soaking up the sun, she can be found wrestling and playing tug-of-war with all her doggy friends. She is often the instigator of the rough-housing; she's mischievous and fun-loving, that's for sure. But Mary Lou also revels in spending time with people; she's a social butterfly who likes to make new friends and visit old ones. She'd be a great family dog as she'd love going to soccer games, picnics and camping out. She likes the stimulation of varied outings and new settings so would be a great travel companion. Mary Lou would be wonderful for grandparents who like to spend time with their grandkids; she'd adore the excitement of visits from the kids for sure. Let us know if you'd like to take our Mary Lou home! Her adoption fee is $150; she's spayed, microchipped and current on vaccinations.

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Mary Lou, a Indianapolis Pug/Beagle dog was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Pug/Beagle for sale in Indianapolis, or seeking a Pug/Beagle dog from a breeder in Indianapolis.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Indianapolis already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Indianapolis breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Pug/Beagle breeders who help with Pug/Beagle rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Indianapolis paves the way for another one to be saved.
