Maverick, estimated to be 2 years old, is a Yellow Lab/Chow mix with the temperament of a teddybear and the playful energy of a perpetual motion machine. He is a former street dog who is doing great at living in a family. He is sweet and loving, but his joyful enthusiasm to play tends to get him in trouble. Currently, he jumps up on people and likes to counter surf.also, until he learns to control his energy, care needs to be taken with children. Is best with older children. He is very people friendly, enjoys staying near his family. Children, cats, and other dogs are his friends. Maverick enjoys rides in the car, going for long walks, and playing. He is learning to sleep in his kennel, is housebroken, and doesn’t bark without reason. Maverick needs to live in a home with a fenced yard where he can expend some of his energy. He is looking for his wingman!
