Ally McBeagle's Story...
Meet Ally McBeagle! This gorgeous gal is ready to find her perfect home. Ally was found running near the shelter one week ago, incredibly scared and lost. She has spent time getting used to her new environment, but Ally would much rather have a family of her own! She can be quite timid when meeting new people and her ideal home would give Ally all the time she needs to adjust. Ally is only eight months old and currently weighs 23 pounds.

Ally loves to play with stuffed toys! You can usually find her snuggled up in bed, pawing and squeaking her favorite plushies. Ally is moderately active, requiring a daily walk or outside play. Once she's tuckered out, she'll find a sunny spot and lie down for a snooze. New places and situations do make Ally quite nervous. Her new family must be committed to helping her adjust, while also providing socialization. Due to Ally's nervousness, a home without small children is preferred. She also requires a secure, fenced-in yard.

Ally doesn't mind other dogs and does well with cats too. Having a canine friend could also boost Ally's confidence! She has been spayed, vaccinated and tested heartworm negative. Her adoption fee is $80. For more information, stop by the shelter to visit Ally McBeagle!

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Ally McBeagle, a Germantown Beagle dog was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Beagle for sale in Germantown, or seeking a Beagle dog from a breeder in Germantown.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Germantown already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Germantown breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Beagle breeders who help with Beagle rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Germantown paves the way for another one to be saved.
