Domino's Info...

Domino's Story...
Domino is a shy 4 year old rat terrier mix. He was surrendered to a shelter when his owner died. He has had a hard time trusting people since then, but is finally coming around. He does well with other dogs and has been learning that people are ok slowly. He likes treats and we think he will make a great little lap dog once he finds a nice safe place to call home again. He is a great size at about 12lbs and would be a good little companion dog for someone who is willing to give him some time to adjust. This sweet girl will be available at our adoption event this coming Saturday 10/22 at Petco 2211 S. College Ave from 10am-1pm. If you are interested in this friendly girl, please submit an application through our website aaanimalrescue.org. Please feel free to email with any questions allaboardanimalrescue@gmail.com.

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Domino, a Fort Collins Fox Terrier (Smooth) dog was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Fox Terrier (Smooth) for sale in Fort Collins, or seeking a Fox Terrier (Smooth) dog from a breeder in Fort Collins.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Fort Collins already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Fort Collins breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Fox Terrier (Smooth) breeders who help with Fox Terrier (Smooth) rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Fort Collins paves the way for another one to be saved.
