Mutt Strut is SUNDAY, OCTOBER 23RD [rain date, changed from Saturday], at the Naval Yard (for details see www.pawsmuttstrut.org). Every available PAWS dog will be attending, so it's a perfect opportunity to adopt. We recommend that all interested adopters complete the application ahead of time. Applications will also be available to complete at the Mutt Strut, but getting a head start will increase the possibility that you will be able to take a dog home from the event. However, we cannot guarantee same-day adoptions.
Caesar will easily win over anyone he meets. Even non dog lovers can't resist his tiny face and impressive dance moves! Caesar is just looking to be your best friend. He's up for whatever you like to do: walks, fetch, the park, hanging out with friends, and especially naps. He happens to be great at snuggling. He is good with other dogs, of all sizes, and gentle with small animals, and he would probably be fine with cats as well. Even though Caesar came to PAWS as a stray, he has amazing manners, is housebroken and crate trained, and a pleasure on a leash. We have even started working on some basic tricks. He is the perfect Philly apartment-sized dog and can't wait to meet you!
Location: Foster Care
Breed: Chihuahua mix (Visual breed identification in dogs is unreliable so for most of the dogs we are only guessing at predominant breed or breed mix. We get to know each dog as an individual and will do our best to describe each of our dogs based on personality, not by breed label)
Age: 2-4 years old
Weight: 6 pounds
Reason for surrender to shelter: Caesar was found as a stray.
If you are interested in meeting Caesar, please email email@example.com for an application. If you have questions, please email the above address or contact our adoption staff member at 215-298-9680, ext. 16.
