Ruby's Story...
Ruby here! I am a 3yr old Boxer mix. I was dumped at a shelter in Texas when the people I considered family wanted a new puppy. I was so sad. I waited and waited for someone to fall in love with my cute under bite and my silly butt wiggle. I dreamed of belly rubs and a soft bed. I thought that I might be stuck there forever when the rescue heroes showed up. They said they had a foster in Colorado that would love to give me a soft bed and belly rubs while I interview for my new forever family. After spending a year with so many dogs in the shelter, I would prefer to be the only dog in the house so I can lavish you with my award winning snuggles and face kisses. I don’t mind the crate and I enjoy going for walks. I am house trained and also know how to sit and lay down. My foster mom is really impressed with how fast I learn new things. If you would like to meet me please apply today.

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Ruby, a Denver Boxer dog was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Boxer for sale in Denver, or seeking a Boxer dog from a breeder in Denver.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Denver already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Denver breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Boxer breeders who help with Boxer rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Denver paves the way for another one to be saved.
