Abby's Story...
Hi, my name is Abby,

I was found, but had still a very good weight, some would say I am a bit fat (27lb).
Well I am working on getting a better body weight.
I was born 8/2013 and I am a MinPin.
Currently I am lucky I get to stay at home with one of the Ark Volunteers during the night. Don't tell anyone, but I do love some cats, not all of them mind you, but I adore kids. Other dogs not so much, but I will make up for that in extra cuddle and snuggle time with you.

Please before you drop by the Ark, make sure I am there, because if not, I will make my foster mom come and get me for you!

Ask for Abby, that's me!

Ark Rescue dogs are available for adoption to homes in the Alabama and Tennessee Valley area only. We do require a secure fenced-in yard to adopt our larger dogs.

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Abby, a Huntsville Miniature Pinscher dog was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Miniature Pinscher for sale in Huntsville, or seeking a Miniature Pinscher dog from a breeder in Huntsville.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Huntsville already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Huntsville breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Miniature Pinscher breeders who help with Miniature Pinscher rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Huntsville paves the way for another one to be saved.
