Here's what the humans have to say about me:
Butters the Bassett (mix) is 27 pounds of spunky sweetness! She is learning the ropes from her big foster sister and is settling into daily home routine nicely. One of her favorite activities is sniffing out all the critters that have visited the yard overnight. Nose-to-the-ground-hound time makes her very happy, but she is equally pleased to be relaxing with her chew toys inside with the family. Butters clearly likes having a doggie sibling. Most of what she is learning she is doing by watching what her foster sister does. It's making training so much easier! She knows basic commands, does well on a leash, and is learning to stay in the crate whenever the hooman is not home to watch her. As a puppy, she does have the tendency to want to chew, but listens when told no and happily accepts the chew toy as a trade. Butters would love a home with another dog to learn from and play with as well as a fenced yard to roam. She's about 6-8 months old and is UTD on vaccinations.
