Hi, I'm Opie. I was found running and dragging my leash after I jumped out of a car window. I was really scared and ran up into the hills, chased by coyotes, and was trapped in the wee hours. The rescue is unable to find my people, even though I'm micro-chipped and licensed.
I've had a little bit of training, and I know how to sit down, give my paw to shake. They keep telling me I'm a really good boy. The rescue will help with training if my new family lives locally.
I'm a big tall guy, which is why they think I'm a Great Dane mix. I have huge paws, and long legs. I'm sweet and undemanding and I like other dogs. I take cookies very gently, and I'm a good dog for a family.
I'm super handsome in person, and I'm just waiting for the right someone who will never let go of my leash to fall in love and take me home. I promise to give lots of kisses and more love back than I receive. I'm a big love bug.
