SINATRA's Story...
Try not to fall in love with our blue-eyed Bassador, Sinatra! He will win you over with his charm & handsomeness. You can't help but think he needs a tuxedo & cigar to complete his look. Sinatra loves going for walks, playing with toys, and snoozing in the sun. He loves people, especially those who give him massages! He has a gentle disposition & sweet temperament, but is also SO much fun and is a real hoot, providing lots of entertainment. Sinatra is a true gentleman. He gets along well with other dogs and people of all ages, including children. He will lay quietly at your feet, but will let you know when it's time to be petted or a good belly rub by looking at you with his beautiful, soulful eyes. Here he is starring in his very own youtube video: https://youtu.be/__JRB_2oEaI

Sinatra was rescued as part of our "Clear the Shelter Campaign" when Dolly's Legacy rescued every animal from a rural Oklahoma shelter, all whom were slated to be killed.

Sinatra was born approximately October 2015, weighs 40 lbs (he could put on a few pounds still) and appears to be a Bassador (mix of Basset Hound & Labrador). He is neutered, vaccinated, microchipped, given flea/tick preventative & dewormed. He is heartworm negative & was given a Pro-Heart injection for six months of heartworm preventative protection. Adoption fee is $300. The FIRST step is to have you complete our online adoption application. All adoption appointments are scheduled AFTER your application has been approved. Why Adoption is a Great Option

SINATRA, a Lincoln Basset Hound/Labrador Retriever dog was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Basset Hound/Labrador Retriever for sale in Lincoln, or seeking a Basset Hound/Labrador Retriever dog from a breeder in Lincoln.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Lincoln already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Lincoln breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Basset Hound/Labrador Retriever breeders who help with Basset Hound/Labrador Retriever rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Lincoln paves the way for another one to be saved.
