RED is still looking for a place to place to call his FURever :)

A 2yr old male neutered redtick coonhound. He's great with people and other dogs that aren't super small or cat sized. He is not cat friendly he tries to chase the ones in his foster home. He loves to go on walks, sunbathe and be loved on. He is the king of hugs and kisses. He thinks he is a lap dog. He has no food aggression or really any aggression towards anything but small animals (cats, rabbits, squirrels) and that's mostly for chase or barking. He loves to be outside but is crate trained.

Red is a handsome Redtick coonhound who loves to be hugged. When he came to us he was extremely malnourish and underweight.. He loves to play with his stuffed animal toys and in the swimming pool. He isn't a fan of cats but he won't let anything else bother them. He loves his humans and wants have constant attention. He is low energy but he will play. He absolutely loves being outside and running around. He is altered, up to date on shots and ready for your home.

About J & Co Rescue

About Our Rescue Group...

J & Co Rescue specializes in rescuing dogs in immediate danger - dogs in urgent need of medical care, facing euthanization due to lack of shelter space, dogs not faring well in a shelter environment, etc. We pull dogs of all breeds, ages & sizes and place them with a preapproved foster family that can meet the needs of the dog. Shelters have limited space, limited time and limited resources for their incoming - we pull the dogs from the shelter environment to give them the medical care, time and home/family environment needed to prepare them for their forever home!

Come Meet Our Pets...

We try to attend as many local events we can - please check out our website at or follow our facebook page for upcoming schedules! If you are interested in meeting a particular dog, a "meet" can be arranged with the foster family.

Our Adoption Process...

Interested adopters will need to fill out an application which will require personal references, a vet reference and a home visit. Our adoption fees vary from $225-$350 depending on the age of the dog. All dogs are UTD on vaccines, spayed/neutered & microchipped prior to adoption. We are an all volunteer organization and try to respond as quickly as possibly!
