Silver and Joy are 2 gorgeous purebred Shih Tzu girls. They are 8 & 9 years young and came to our rescue through no fault of their own. Their elderly owner passed away and found themselves without a home when relatives did not want to care for them.
Joy is brindle in color, petite and oh so adorable and weighs about 9 lbs. She's active and acts much younger than her age. Silver is the larger white and black one, about 16 lbs and is equally as sweet and loves to be close by.
Silver "talks" when she has to go out or has something else she needs. She also uses the doggie door. Silver has a few health issues that remain stable as long as she takes her daily thyroid pill and stays on a special dry kibble/food for optimal urinary and kidney health. Silver came to us with her left eye already removed and it is unknown as to when or why, however it does not bother her or limit her in any way.
Joy and Silver love to walk on a leash and are house trained. They are a BONDED pair and will ONLY be adopted out together. They are a longer coated breed and will require daily brushing and professional grooming every 6 to 8 weeks.
The adoption fee for both together is 450.00 which includes their spays, vaccinations, rabies, microchip and professional groom.
