Apple Jack's Info...

I am already neutered, up to date with shots, good with kids, good with dogs, and good with cats.

Apple Jack's Story...
Apple Jack loves people, so he had a home at some point. He came to Camp Companion as a stray.

He is truly gorgeous and has a personality that is just as pleasing. "Jack" knows he is handsome and loves to pose for the camera. He likes to snuggle against you on the couch, enjoys all the petting you will give him, and is just plain sweet. He also has a playful side and particularly enjoys toys that make noise - his favorite is a grasshopper that chirps.

This supermodel is hoping to land a forever home soon. Jack is in a foster home with multiple was and is learning how to get along with them. He would be fine as an only cat or could be fine with another laid back cat. We are unsure of dogs.

All adoptable pets have been spayed/neutered, vaccinated, and microchipped. For more information about adoption, please contact Camp Companion at 507-951-7801, www.campcompanion.org, or find us on Facebook!

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Apple Jack, a Rochester Domestic Shorthair cat was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Domestic Shorthair for sale in Rochester, or seeking a Domestic Shorthair cat from a breeder in Rochester.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Rochester already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Rochester breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Domestic Shorthair breeders who help with Domestic Shorthair rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Rochester paves the way for another one to be saved.
