I am already neutered, up to date with shots, good with kids, and good with cats.

Golden Graham's Story...
Golden Graham was a stray, but obviously had a home at one time. He is a true Velcro cat and wants to be near (or on) you as much as possible. He has a great purr, stunning eyes, and a personality that is hard to beat. His compact, sturdy body is just right for hugging and cuddling and he loves ever minute of it. You will never be lonely with "Graham" in your home.

Graham is learning to live with other cats, but can be aggressive with other adult males so a home as an only cat or with a laid back female may be best. We are unsure of dogs.

Golden Graham is FIV positive but all this really means is that he has a compromised immune system and he requires an indoor home. Here is more information on FIV. http://bestfriends.org/resources/cats/fiv-cats-faqs

All adoptable pets have been spayed/neutered, vaccinated, and microchipped. For more information about adoption, please contact Camp Companion at 507-951-7801, www.campcompanion.org, or find us on Facebook!

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Golden Graham, a Rochester Domestic Shorthair cat was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Domestic Shorthair for sale in Rochester, or seeking a Domestic Shorthair cat from a breeder in Rochester.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Rochester already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Rochester breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Domestic Shorthair breeders who help with Domestic Shorthair rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Rochester paves the way for another one to be saved.
