Storm's Story...
Storm came to Camp Companion when her family had a new baby. She went through a lot of changes in a short time and it took her a while to adjust.

For the first week or so in a new home, she will hide, slink around behind furniture and be a little hissy. The best way to make friends is to put her on a twice daily feeding schedule so she has to come out a little bit to eat and you can talk to her.

Once she is comfortable with you, she is talkative, affectionate, and sweet. She likes to join you in bed, under the covers if possible.

Storm is fine with cat savvy dogs. She is fine with other cats, but likes to be the boss and fine with cat savvy school age kids.

All adoptable pets have been spayed/neutered, vaccinated, and microchipped. For more information about adoption, please contact Camp Companion at 507-951-7801, www.campcompanion.org, or find us on Facebook!

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Storm, a Rochester Siamese cat was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Siamese for sale in Rochester, or seeking a Siamese cat from a breeder in Rochester.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Rochester already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Rochester breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Siamese breeders who help with Siamese rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Rochester paves the way for another one to be saved.
