Missy's Info...

I am housetrained, purebred, up to date with shots, good with kids, and good with dogs.

Missy's Story...
Missy and her brother Oso were turned into the kill shelter in Brownsville after their owner passed away. She is so very sweet and she love people. Missy will make a great therapy pet.

Missy and Oso are very bonded, so we would like to adopt them together, but will consider splitting them up, if you have another dog that Missy could bond with, or if can spend a lot of time with Missy, so she is not alone.

If you'd like to make Missy a part of your family, please go to our website and fill out the adoption application.

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Missy, a Austin St. Bernard dog was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a St. Bernard for sale in Austin, or seeking a St. Bernard dog from a breeder in Austin.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Austin already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Austin breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even St. Bernard breeders who help with St. Bernard rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Austin paves the way for another one to be saved.
