Orion is 4 years old and weighs approximately 135 pounds.  He is a Dogue de Bordeaux and is being fostered in Orlando, FL. He would do best in a home with a docile female dog, kids over 15 and a fenced in yard for him to play in. Orion will not be placed in a home with other male dogs.

Orion is super sweet, loves to be in the company of people and is doing great with the senior female DdB in his foster home and did very well with a 50 pound female terrier mix puppy. We are looking for a home who has mastiff experience and this home must have a fenced in yard.

We are getting applications with other male dogs and feel we must stress NO MALE DOGS. He is neutered, crate and house trained, up to date on his shots, heart worm negative and on heart worm preventative, and is ready for his forever home. He loves and I mean LOVES to go for his daily walks around the neighborhood so his family must commit to this as this is part of his nightly routine and he looks forward to it and we would hate to see this taken away from him. Orion is going to brighten the lives of the family who adopts him.

If you are interested in giving Orion his happily ever after, please submit an adoption application at www.americanbulldogrescue.org.  Please note: No one will be considered without first submitting an adoption application. Our dogs are in homes and only approved adopters can meet them. Once approved, you can meet any dog you like that would be a good fit for you/your family.

If you are interested in giving Orion his happily ever after, please submit an adoption application at www.americanbulldogrescue.org.  It is our policy at American Bulldog Rescue not to place the same gender dogs in a home.  Adoptions are most successful and harmonious with opposite genders. Please also note: No one will be considered without first submitting an adoption application. Our dogs are in homes and only approved adopters can meet them. Once approved, you can meet any dog you like that would be a good fit for you/your family.

PLEASE READ: Adopters will not be considered without completing an application. Please visit www.AmericanBulldogRescue.org to apply! Remember - Adoption is always the best option! If you can't help by adopting a homeless pet, please consider making a tax-deductible donation to American Bulldog Rescue, 4 Terry Drive, Suite 1D Newtown, PA 18940 or paypal AmericanBulldogRescue@verizon.net. We cannot place dogs in homes with children under 10 unless that dog has lived with kids or is in a foster home with kids. Thank you.

To be considered for adoption, you must apply using our free, online application. Our dogs are fostered in our volunteers' homes, not in a central shelter/location. Only approved applicants are put into contact with the foster family to setup a meeting with the foster dog. Visit our Adoption Policies web page for more information and a link to our application: http://americanbulldogrescue.org/adoption-policies/.

About Our Rescue Group...

American Bulldog Rescue

Our Adoption Process...

To adopt one of our love-a-bull dogs, you must submit an application on our website at www.americanbulldogrescue.org. Applications must meet minimum requirements (policies are listed our site). Applicants have their vet and personal references checked . The next step is a home visit by one of our volunteers. Finally, the applicant will be put in touch with the foster family to arrange to meet the dog! If a happy match is made, the applicants sign an adoption contract and provide an adoption donation. The donation is usually $400.
