Liam is a laid back, affectionate cat who has moments of real playfulness. He can be quite a hoot, such as when he's lying on the very top of the cat tree with his big ol' fluffy tail hanging down one side and his little fluffy face hanging down the other. He has many moments that make me smile!

Liam is more of a companion cat than a lap cat. He enjoys hanging out with me, either close by on the floor or sitting on a window ledge next to my chair. His photos make him look bigger than he really is, probably because of his fur, which is somewhere between medium and long length. Based on his weight on the day he was neutered, he probably now only weighs about 9 pounds. He gets along great with other cats and is an excellent litter box user. He's also quite gentle..

Liam and Lizzy were found together in a stray cat colony in the city of Harrisburg. They were in very good condition, but they weren't fixed. Their rescuers had them spayed/neutered and vaccinated, then contacted Castaway Critters. Fortunately, we had room to take them into our foster program. It took them about a week to feel comfortable, but they easily adjusted to the other cats and have become wonderful members of  the household! They are now microchipped and have tested negative for feline leukemia and FIV.

Based on their their estimated ages, they aren't litter mates. And they don't have to be adopted together. But for folks looking for two young cats who will provide years of pleasure for them and company for each other, they're a delightful choice.

For more information, contact their foster mom Annette (that's me) in Harrisburg at alr20@comcast.net. To start the adoption process, please complete an adoption application that's available here.
