Dexter's Info...

I am already neutered, housetrained, up to date with shots, good with kids, good with dogs, and good with cats.

Dexter's Story...
Dexter was born around May of this year and came to School of Wags with a severe case of Demodex which has been successfully treated. He is house trained, microchipped, doing okay at walking on a leash and his fosters are working on his basic commands. He loves to play ball but hasn't mastered bringing it back just yet. He has the typical energy someone would expect of an American Bully his age. Dexter really enjoys having other dogs to play with. He gets along great with cats and kids, too. He is neutered, up to date on shots, heartworm negative, kennel trained and is ready for his forever home. This loving and energetic puppy is worth a second, and third, and fourth look!
If Dexter sounds like the perfect addition to your family, fill out an adoption application at www.schoolofwags.org

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Dexter, a Killeen American Pit Bull Terrier dog was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a American Pit Bull Terrier for sale in Killeen, or seeking a American Pit Bull Terrier dog from a breeder in Killeen.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Killeen already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Killeen breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even American Pit Bull Terrier breeders who help with American Pit Bull Terrier rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Killeen paves the way for another one to be saved.
