Meet Valerie! Valerie came into our program with her sister Valora. Easy going and friendly makes this girl easy to fit in just about every family. She loves humans and wants to be as close as possible. Valerie is new to Lifelines and on her way to being house trained and kennel trained. A little cautious around young, loud kids but is learning quickly they mean no harm. Great with all dogs and working on being great with cats. Very intelligent and eager to please. She is utd on shots, spayed, microchipped, heartworm negative, and on heartworm and flea prevention! Interested in meeting this girl, fill out an adoption application and we can set up a meet and greet!

About Louisiana Lifeline for K-9's

About Our Rescue Group...

We are a foster based small rescue group and our mission is simple:
-To rescue, rehabilitate and re-home abandoned animals, mainly in Beauregard and Vernon Parish.
-To reduce pet overpopulation by educating pet owners about the benefits of spay/neuter and implementing low cost spay/neuter programs.
-To prevent cruelty, abuse and neglect of animals in Beauregard and Vernon Parish.
- To ultimately achieve a "No Kill" community through educating, inspiring and collaborating with others to end euthanasia as a means to control animal population.

Come Meet Our Pets...

All our adoptable dogs are in loving foster homes, we do not have a shelter or dedicated location. A meet and greet with any of our adoptable dogs can be arranged at a time convenient for both parties, or just come join as at any of our adoption events!

Our Adoption Process...

All our dogs/pups are utd on shots, spayed or neutered, on heartworm prevention and microchipped before adoption. We ask our adopters to fill out adoption application to ensure the best match for you and your new pet, this includes a veterinarian check for currently owned/previous pets and we ask for two personal references. Our current adoption fees are $100.
