A - MISSY's Story...
Hi, there! My name is Missy. What’s yours? Nice to meet ya! WATCH MY VIDEOS:

Hey! Before you get attached to me, read all the way to the bottom. You will see that I am still in Houston, TX but I want to get OUT of Houston and OUT of Texas so I can have a really good life. I want to see Texas in my rear view mirror. A nice person came along and took me in and, now, I am ready to hit the road to your house! Uh, make that “our” house, OK? As soon as you adopt me, I’ll be on my way to you!

I am a Boxer. I was 3 in March. I weigh 48 pounds. I am up to date on all of my shots and have been spayed. I am in excellent health. I am ready to go to meet you in my new home with YOU! Those funny-looking 2-legged creatures said I am also microchipped – whatever THAT is.

Wanna hear some more good stuff about me? OK, here goes. My foster mom says that I am excellent with children and adults and I’m friendly too. I love to play with toys and I am not food aggressive at all......will share food and toys with kids and dogs. I am house-trained and crate-trained. All good stuff, huh?

I am super sweet, my foster tells everyone. I know she’s telling the truth because they all love on me and smile and speak very sweetly to me. So, it must be true! My foster says I’m quite the “looker”! That’s good, huh?

Can you stand hearing more good things about me? I love my toys and bones. I can be rather inquisitive when left to my own devices. So, just be sure I have plenty of toys to occupy my time if you are away. I heard on TV, “A mind is a terrible thing to waste.” I’m a smart girl!

My foster mom loves me SO much that she only wants me to fly to my new home even if a pet transport truck was available. See my adoption information below.

If you would like to take me home (and you know you do), please email mpringle001@comcast.net and she can get me on my way to a new and loving home! My adoption fee is $650 USD and includes my vetting, spaying, microchip, health certificate, travel crate AND transportation on United Airlines from Houston, TX to areas in the Northeast U. S., North Central U. S., Northwest U. S., and Canada and will be arranged by the rescue group. (This is a courtesy posting.)

Why Adoption is a Great Option

A - MISSY, a Houston Boxer dog was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Boxer for sale in Houston, or seeking a Boxer dog from a breeder in Houston.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Houston already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Houston breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Boxer breeders who help with Boxer rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Houston paves the way for another one to be saved.
