Barley is a new arrival at Merit from Pender County. This sweet boy is dog and child friendly but prefers a slow intro to cats. His foster family tells us that Barley is a little lover and wants to meet every person that walks by. He loves to be cuddled and pet. He still has a lot of puppy playfulness to him but in shorter bursts. He can be very content napping quietly. What's his favorite toy? His nyla bone, of course! Hobbies for this handsome boy include lazy naps in the sun, long walks, meeting new people and most of all cuddling. He's working hard on his training and knows sit and down and is working on stay. Crate trained, house broken and he's great on a leash. Doesn't this guy sound like a dream come true? We think so too!!
Barley is current on his shots and is on medication to resolve his skin issues. He has been/will be neutered and microchipped prior to adoption. For more information or to submit an adoption application, please visit our website at www.mpbf.org
