Cider-Adopted!'s Story...
Cider came to HFE along with her brother, Jack-O, and her sister Spice. Cider is a bit smaller than her sister Spice. She's got a little white stripe on her nose and lots of wrinkles on her forehead and she's sweet as can be. She's very playful with her littermates and loves playing with her toys. She's played with some big dogs but hasn't seen a cat yet. She loves kids and playing outside but she doesn't like the cold weather. She's not house trained yet but she keeps her crate clean as long as she's not left for too long. She's very smart and eager to please. She is playful, but she also likes to be held and snuggled. She loves belly rubs and ear scratches.

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Cider-Adopted!, a Detroit Shepherd (Unknown Type)/Terrier (Unknown Type, Medium) puppy was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Shepherd (Unknown Type)/Terrier (Unknown Type, Medium) for sale in Detroit, or seeking a Shepherd (Unknown Type)/Terrier (Unknown Type, Medium) puppy from a breeder in Detroit.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Detroit already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Detroit breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Shepherd (Unknown Type)/Terrier (Unknown Type, Medium) breeders who help with Shepherd (Unknown Type)/Terrier (Unknown Type, Medium) rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Detroit paves the way for another one to be saved.
