Scooby's Story...
We are 15 month old lab mix brothers. I am Shaggy the yellow one and my brother is Scooby the brindle one. We are about 55-60 pounds. We are very sweet and loving but shy at first. Our daddy went to jail and we were left all alone until we were rescued. We are very playful and good with other dogs. We haven't been around cats though. We would be best with older children as we are bigger and can accidentally knock them over. We are crate trained. We are completely vetted. Neutrerd, utd on shots, wormed, heartworm checked, microchipped, and monthly heartworm & flea treated. We have an adoption fee of 150 each. If interested please leave a name and contact number.

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Scooby, a Gainesville Labrador Retriever dog was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Labrador Retriever for sale in Gainesville, or seeking a Labrador Retriever dog from a breeder in Gainesville.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Gainesville already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Gainesville breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Labrador Retriever breeders who help with Labrador Retriever rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Gainesville paves the way for another one to be saved.
