My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Spirit is a 10 pound, 9 year old purebred Shih Tzu whose owner died and made no provisions for him. When this little guy was taken to the animal services, his fur was so matted that they felt the need to shave him down entirely. He was severely emaciated, but with good food, medicines, and daily baths, he has recovered finely. This boy is extremely affectionate, calm, and eager to please. We believe that Spirit is around 9 years old, but are only guessing. When our rescue pulled him from the dog pound and took him our veterinarian, he had his rotten teeth removed, but his appetite is insatiable. Spirit has a lot of life and love to give to a great family. Spirit is neutered, vaccinated, micro-chipped, de-wormed, and current on flea, tick, and heartworm prevention.
