LOOKING FOR A CALM HOME: 3 years old / 10 lbs. n vaccinations, micro-chipped, neutered and my adoption fee is $275.00. Meet me Saturdays at 1 of our 2 Kennesaw locations from 11-4pm. Check for my location at www.mostlymutts.org after 5pm on Fridays. I’m a shy little fellow who is looking for a very loving, patient and calm home to build my confidence and help me blossom! I long for a calm and quiet home with just a few family members to love and have been learning the routine in my foster home. I’m a small and delicate guy with a huge personality. I like to be where you are unless it’s first thing in the morning—then I’d rather just sleep in! I love attention and laps and all the love you can give me, once I feel safe. I have my “Croft Cave” a plastic travel type crate that I love and feel safe in. Maybe a metal crate is okay if you cover it with a blanket. Walking on a leash is new to me and can be scary with all the traffic noises, so you’ll need to make sure I’m in good fitting martingale collar or a body harness that I can’t pull backwards and get out of. Also, I seem to be sensitive around my neck, so I’ll need very gentle handling. Go slow with me, as I’m a little leery of taking my harness on and off. A much quieter walking path would be nice too! I am a little unsure of other dogs, so I need a quiet introduction and my own space to eat and hangout. I’m working on my potty manners and think that I’ll do better in a home where I can go out very frequently. I have a sweet, yet fearful nature and I do startle easily and have bitten a time or two when I was afraid or unsure, so I’d be best in a home with no kids. I’d like a family that is home a lot or perhaps works from home, so I can learn to trust and be a happy little doggie! If I were to stay at home alone all day, I would probably stay timid and not come out of my shell. Perhaps you’re just the person I’m looking for? Energy level: 3–5. I'm current on vaccinations, micro-chipped, neutered and my adoption fee is $275.00.
