LOOKING FOR A CALM HOME: 3 years old / 10 lbs. Meet me Saturdays at 1 of our 2 Kennesaw locations from 11-4pm. Check for my location at www.mostlymutts.org after 5pm on Fridays. I’m a shy little fellow who is looking for a very loving, patient and calm home to build my confidence and help me blossom! I’m a bit overwhelmed at the Mostly Mutts shelter with all of the folks that come and go taking care of all the doggies and kitties here. Don’t get me wrong, it’s a really nice place filled with really nice volunteers, but I long for a calm and quiet home with just a few family members to love. I love attention and laps and all the love you can give me, once I feel safe. Walking on a leash is new to me too and can be scary with all the traffic noises, so you’ll need to make sure I’m in a good fitting martingale collar or a body harness that I can’t pull backwards and get out of. Also, I seem to be sensitive around my neck, so I’ll need gentle handling. A much quieter walking path would be nice too! I’m working on my potty manners at the shelter and think that I’ll do better in a home where I can go out very frequently. I have a sweet, yet fearful nature and I do startle easily and have bitten a time or two when I was afraid, but I don’t want to bite and really try hard not to, so I’d be best in a home with no kids. I’d like a family that is home a lot or perhaps works from home, so I can learn to trust and be a happy little doggie! If I were to stay at home alone all day, I would probably stay timid and not come out of my shell. Perhaps you’re just the person I’m looking for? You can call Tammy at 770-314-8974 for more info. about my fears and behavior as I’m sure I will overcome them in a nice quiet home. Energy level: 3–5. I'm current on vaccinations, micro-chipped, neutered and my adoption fee is $275.00.
