Rocky's Story...
9/18/16 Check out this handsome fella! Sylvester Stallone doesn't have anything on our Rocky! Well...except maybe size. Weighing in at only 65lbs, our Rocky does need to "beef up" just a bit to be at his appropriate weight, but it won't take him long! He's adjusted well to shelter life and is a friend to all! He's very friendly and loves attention. Rocky is around 3 years old and is an Great Pyrenees (mix?) and is one gorgeous dog! We might as well call him the Gentle Giant, as he wouldn't hurt a flea. Rocky is patiently waiting for his life trainer to discover him and take him to the ring...his forever home. Message us for an application! ere is his video! https://youtu.be/U5IvHHBeV0M

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Rocky, a Charleston Great Pyrenees/St. Bernard dog was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Great Pyrenees/St. Bernard for sale in Charleston, or seeking a Great Pyrenees/St. Bernard dog from a breeder in Charleston.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Charleston already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Charleston breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Great Pyrenees/St. Bernard breeders who help with Great Pyrenees/St. Bernard rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Charleston paves the way for another one to be saved.
