Hi there! We are King and Kodiak, darling brothers who are as social and playful as kitties come! Now me, Kodiak, am a little bigger and have a light black smudge on my head (and an orange collar). I’m a relaxed boy who is happily independent but still very loving. And me, King, well, what do you expect from my name? I purr a lot (isn’t that what kings do?) and like laps but sometimes need a little wiggle room. We both love petting and are very playful and confident. We are never far from each other and really need to be adopted together. We were born in mid–April and have been fixed, microchipped, tested negative and are up to date on our shots. If you’d like to see us in action, here are our videos: Kodiak: https://youtu.be/gQv9vK4h63w and King: https://youtu.be/cOCUbSRlvec
We are living in a private foster home, not a shelter, so prospective adopters need to be approved to visit me there. Please fill out an adoption application at www.mainecoonadoptions.com

NOTE: Some shelters have physical locations you can visit; some of these shelters may only have pets for a limited time, so please do not wait for a reply—just go visit the shelter! Other organizations are rescue groups run by busy volunteers who may take a while to reply. You can find information about the shelter or rescue group caring for this pet, and their adoption procedures, on the pet's details page on Adopt-a-Pet.com.
