This gorgeous fella is Bruno! I guess we should say handsome. Bruno was abandoned by his owners at a kill shelter in GA and rescued by The Last Resort Rescue just in time! The people that abandoned him said he is good with other animals and children but they just didn’t have “space” for him. He has had no potty accidents at all in his foster home. Bruno is 1-2 years old and just sweet as can be. Because he is just a youngster we’re working on breaking him of jumping on his people. He is very good with other dogs and loves to give them kisses. He does really well on a leash also. He is great in his crate so far also. We believe Bruno is a curly coated retriever/Sheltie mix. He actually looks like a small Collie. He is 35-40 pounds so he’s a great size and not going to get any bigger. Bruno is neutered, healthy and up to date on all of his shots. He is being fostered in GA and once an adopter becomes approved he can travel to either NJ or MD.
Update on Bruno 10/20 - From foster mom: 'Bruno is a gem of a dog! He is very smart and just wants to kiss and cuddle and play with the other dogs. He is doing great in his crate and absolutely no potty accidents at all in the house. He is very affectionate so if people don't like being kissed by a dog, this is not their dog. He's special and it's amazing he was ever abandoned like he was. He deserves a home as special as he is.' Bruno loves to romp and play so we will be hoping for an adopter with a fenced yard and also someone who is around a good bit during the day - this guy can't be left alone all day. Also - we believe Bruno to be closer to 1 year old.
