Meet Goldielocks! We all have heard the story of Goldilocks and the 3 bears when we were kids, but this story is much better!  Our Goldielocks is a stunning husky with gorgeous brown eyes. She was picked up as a stray and taken to a kill shelter in NC. She is now currently safe in foster. The reason for her name is she was found running down the road with about 2 foot of chain with a gold pad lock on her collar so we named her Goldielocks. She was heartworm positive but we have started her on slow kill treatment (as she was not in good health when we got her) and she is due to be retested soon. The rescue will provide her ongoing treatment until she tests negative.  She is fully vetted and ready for her forever home which she really deserves. She is about 2 years old.  She is a real hugger. She just loves people so much.  She is good on a leash and we are working on the housetraining.  She is also good with other dogs.  Because of what she has been through we really want to ensure she goes to a loving home that will adore her for the rest of her life!

Goldielocks is in foster in NC and can be transported to MD or NJ for an approved adopter.
