Facts about Dash

  • Breed: Domestic Shorthair
  • Color: Gray Or Blue (Mostly)
  • Age: Kitten
  • Sex: Male
  • Hair: Short
During the flooding in the aftermath of Hurricane Matthew, little baby Dash was discovered trying to run across a four-lane street in Greenville. One of our volunteers was driving down that street and saw him dashing through traffic. Hurriedly, she pulled her car over and raced to save Dash. Though he hid in some bushes, buzzing with bees, the brave volunteer reached in and grabbed him, getting scratched in the process--since all she could grab was his tail! But as soon as she had Dash safely in a carrier, he settled down and showed himself to be very sweet and loving. He had certainly had a harrowing day! We estimate that he was born in mid-July 2016. He will be sure to bring love and happiness to a forever home.

The adoption fee is $85 in cash, and a good vet reference is required. (Saving Graces 4 Felines' adoptable cats are spayed or neutered, or come with a spay/neuter contract. They have been tested for feline leukemia and FIV, are up to date on vaccines, and have been treated for worms and fleas. They have also been micro-chipped.)

About Saving Graces 4 Felines

About Our Rescue Group...

We began as a TNR group in late 2001, but became a non-profit rescue group on January 14, 2002, with a 501 (c)(3) status. We rescue abandoned, stray, homeless cats throughout Pitt County, as well as many from Animal Control. We also do TNR for many cat colonies in and around Greenville, and provide for their daily feeding. We were instrumental in starting Pitt County's first low-cost spay/neuter clinic--Spay Today. We are an all volunteer organization, and all we do is simply for the love of cats.
