Fabio is about 2yo (per our vet that examined him) and currently 14 pounds. This is Fabio! We believe Fabio to be an Italian Greyhound/Wire Haired Fox Terrier mix. He is a dear, sweet boy, who wants very much to be loved and to be part of a family. Fabio has lots of energy, so needs someone who will spend time with him, taking him for walks, playing with him, and teaching him good doggie manners. He does well with other dogs, though can be a little pushy, in his eagerness to play. Gentle training, however, will help him learn to control his impulses. Fabio must have a yard with a six-foot tall fence (gates must also be six feet tall). When he was calmly interrupted and redirected to go outside, the marking stopped. He is house trained. He sleeps in a crate at night (though he will most happily share your bed!), and is okay crated for a few hours during the day. Fabio's highest hope is to be placed with a family in which someone is home most of the day, and who is fairly active. We think he will be okay with gentle children over the age of ten. If you have a place in your family for an intelligent, fun loving dog, someone who really will be a companion to you, you are invited to apply for this wonderful little guy! Check out his "yard" video https://youtu.be/iWq-h6m1dZI and then you will understand why this guy needs a yard and a playmate! Put in an application today!
