Stella's Story...
Meet our newest Dirt Dog STELLA! She's a spunky medium-sized dog who found herself in a shelter and with heartworms. She's completing her heartworm treatments and is finally done with the crate rest portion of her recovery. STELLA is now able to be an energetic, outdoor loving, playful pup! She's about a year old and smart as a whip! STELLA gets along with other dogs but is a bit cat curious. However, with the right introductions, she will be the perfect addition to any family! In fact, if STELLA pulls at your heartstrings like she did ours, don’t let her heartworms scare you off from you and your furry family members meeting her now! Her foster mom didn’t give up on trying to save STELLA. She sought out several rescues asking them to help this special girl and let her be the foster. Her foster mom would be so excited for STELLA if she had a home waiting for her when she was done with her treatment! If you would like to get to know STELLA BELLA, contact or message our Facebook page! Her adoption fee is $150 which includes spay, microchip and vaccinations.

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Stella, a Bedford Belgian Malinois dog was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Belgian Malinois for sale in Bedford, or seeking a Belgian Malinois dog from a breeder in Bedford.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Bedford already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Bedford breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Belgian Malinois breeders who help with Belgian Malinois rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Bedford paves the way for another one to be saved.
