My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

A team of our volunteers went to a local shelter to meet a potential pup. The ACO (a great friend to our rescue) asked us if we’d meet a girl we didn’t even know was there. Of course we said yes and out came bounding this ball of joy. Immediately all of us found ourselves laughing at her antics. She was just a feel good pup. The meet and greet with our fosters’ dog (TDR alum Willow) was perfect. The two girls acted as if they were lifelong friends instantly. We are so excited to officially welcome ABBY to Thank Dog Rescue! We’ve fallen in love fast and hope her forever family will too!
Abby is around 2-3. She’s a smart girl who is also a total sweetheart. Abby is good with kids, cats, and other pups. The total package! She’ll make a great addition to almost any family. Her breed is up for debate, but we’re guessing there is some sort of shepherd and Border Collie/Cattle Dog in her. We are confident she’s 50% beautiful and 50% amazing though! Her pictures really don’t do her justice – she’s stunning. Because of her herding background, she would do best in a home with kids 5 and older.
