Tiny's Story...
Tiny has finally found his forever home! Please help his many friends still back at the shelter!!! Tiny is a long hair chihuahua about 4yrs old. He and Tia came in together, but may be adopted separately. Tiny is quite the romantic little guy- he loves to be held and is super-sweet. Tiny would love a home where he can be pampered and learn some basic obedience. He loves to run and play with toys but is also content sitting on your lap. Tiny may do best with children 9yrs and up since he can be stingy with his food sometimes. Please come meet our little lover boy and we know you will ove him too! * Resources will be provided @ time of adoption for Tiny to be neutered!

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Tiny, a Kankakee Chihuahua dog was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Chihuahua for sale in Kankakee, or seeking a Chihuahua dog from a breeder in Kankakee.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Kankakee already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Kankakee breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Chihuahua breeders who help with Chihuahua rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Kankakee paves the way for another one to be saved.
