Myley's Story...
Myley has finally found a very nice home where we know she will be loved and cared for. Please help her friends still waiting in the shelter!!!

Myley is an outgoing and submissive pit (sight hound mix) about 10 months old. She loves to cuddle and give kisses and seems to be potty trained. Myley is good with other dogs and tolerant cats and eagerly greets people with a big tail wag!

Myley was brought into the shelter off the very cold streets and has been enjoying snuggling up in her blankets and chewing on her toys. She is looking for a forever home that can continue her training and keep up with her high energy level. Please come meet with this lovely girl today and see if she is the best companion for you!

*Resources will be provided at time of adoption for Myley to be spayed!

**THIS DOG CANNOT LIVE WITHIN THE CITY OF KANKAKEE OR HOPKINS PARK!!! **

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Myley, a Kankakee Pit Bull Terrier dog was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Pit Bull Terrier for sale in Kankakee, or seeking a Pit Bull Terrier dog from a breeder in Kankakee.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Kankakee already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Kankakee breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Pit Bull Terrier breeders who help with Pit Bull Terrier rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Kankakee paves the way for another one to be saved.
