Bella's Info...

I am already spayed, up to date with shots, good with kids, and good with dogs.

Bella's Story...
Bella is about 5 months old, already spayed and current on vaccinations. She is a lab and possibly doberman mix girl with the wonderfully goofy and loving temperament of both breeds and very long legs. We rescued her off the streets a few months ago and placed her with a really nice family. Bella is now a victim of divorce and this little girl is eagerly awaiting the opportunity for a permanent home! Bella loves to run and play and hardly ever sits still. She is learning how to sit and shake and will need some continued work on not jumping up and walking nicely on a leash. Bella loves playing with other dogs and adores children. She does well in her kennel and has been getting more consistent with her potty training. Bella is looking for a home that can keep up with her energy level, continue to work on her basic obedience and help her to be the wonderful pup she wants to be. This girl is all heart and we know you will melt when you see her!

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Bella, a Kankakee Labrador Retriever dog was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Labrador Retriever for sale in Kankakee, or seeking a Labrador Retriever dog from a breeder in Kankakee.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Kankakee already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Kankakee breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Labrador Retriever breeders who help with Labrador Retriever rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Kankakee paves the way for another one to be saved.
